"The Monster And The Machine" - With the military preparing to attack the Hulk with an iceberg rocket that will freeze him in mid-air, Rick starts to really worry. He tries to use Banner's ray to turn Hulk back into Banner, and almost gives him a radiation overdose. Banner realizes there may be a way to retain his own mind when he occupies Hulk's body, and does so successfully. There's still an open question about how much of that mind is actually Banner's, though... "The Gladiator From Outer Space!" - An alien spacecraft lands on Earth, carrying Mongu, who challenges Earth to find a champion who can stand against him. The Hulk volunteers, only to learn he's been tricked by communists who intend to capture the Hulk to study him and reproduce his abilities. This makes the Hulk angry, and the communists don't like him when he's angry.
