Leonard Samson has a theory which could simultaneously restore Betty Ross and cure Bruce Banner of the Hulk. He bleeds off some of the Hulk's energy and uses it to restore Betty. However, there is residual energy left over, which he then applies to himself, creating a new gamma powered physique. Now Hulkless, Bruce Banner must contemplate the prospect of living a normal life without the only person he'd want to share a life with.
