Skaar's forces are closing in on Axeman Bone, but he and Omaka think themselves ready to face the Son of Hulk. As he and his armies escape on ships, he awakens the dragon-gods of Fillia... massive beasts larger than the city under which they slumber. All the while, the spirit of Caiera the Oldstrong sees her son and now knows him for the monster he is becoming. But he may still have a chance to redeem himself.
